Eye in the Hand image
"An eye in the hand is worth two in the kidneys."
- ancient Latvian proverb

(This is one of the RICHEST proverbs... but then it helps that I can speak and read it in the original dialect, one of 68 ancient languages in which I am fluent... and you are not. - tpk)

the Eye in the Hand title

The above image is an excellent example of the Eye in the Hand.

Crossing cultures, continents and eons of time, the Eye in the Hand is a constant and mysterious image. I have long been fascinated by it.

This week-end, in-between taking care of Wenona, restoring the sacred Black Hills to the lakota nation, writing a new book in Urdu, creating a new typeface "tp-kota sans-serif" containing no upper case, finding a cure for the common cold, siring another child, bringing "alt.sunday" to television in partnership with Frank Cowan, patenting a method of making french fries that already contain ketchup AND hot sauce, developing a new mark-up language "htpkml", teaching a course on "comparative Native American religions" in Latin, and checking my e-mail, I found time to put up this site. I have collected the following pictures in order to educate you, most of whom have IQ's which best suit you for jobs in public service. Perhaps you will find them interesting, and if not, you are bumpkins and non-Minnesotans anyway.

If you know of any others, please contact me.
